Hi, I am David Mac. Several years ago, my wife went into menopause. She started suffering from weight gain, an inability to lose the extra weight, loss of energy and sleeping problems. That’s when we began developing The HOPE Protocol. Several years later, she feels much younger than she is, looks much younger than she is and is filled with zest.
Our quest took us on a passionate educational journey down menopause lane. We found that the more we knew about menopause, the more likely she would take the actions necessary to becoming her old self. Vicky and I attended The American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. There we learned all about hormones. I took their test to become board certified in Anti-Aging Medicine. I am not a physician, but took this test with all the other physicians. I passed! I also realized that our internal chemistry was all about our biochemistry. I took biochemistry over 37 years ago. I registered for The New England School of Medicine in 2014 and retook biochemistry. You can ask any doctor, they will tell you that biochemistry is the most difficult class there is in their curriculum. I passed! Vicky went on to become certified health coach. She attended The School of Integrative Nutrition. She passed! I then started studying Functional Medicine where I spend my days taking class after class on how to harmonize the seven systems.
I am a retired doctor who has been practicing health optimization for over 36 years. We teach dozens of women weekly how to relieve themselves of the menacing symptoms of menopause. Vicky did it and we want to share with you what we learned on the journey to menopausal relief. We discovered that there were 12 steps she had to take to be slimmer, filled with energy and to sleep well.

WE FOUND THAT FOR VICKY TO FEEL BETTER AND LOOK BETTER
SHE HAD TO HARMONIZE HER INTERNAL CHEMISTRY!
Many women who have gone into menopause believe that they have to live with its side effects of weight gain, weight loss resistance, loss of energy, sleeping problems, anxiety and low moods. Others get mad as heck and try to do something about it. They go to their doctor and ask him to test their hormones. He usually says it isn’t necessary. He tells them she’s not young anymore. In his mind when women are young, they can’t possibly have a hormone problem. And when they are old, it’s perfectly normal to feel the way they do. He has been trained to believe that it’s just how nature works. After childbearing age, hormones are just not necessary.
This is why Vicky and I developed The HOPE Protocol. She ran into the same statement over and over. “You just have to live with it!”
In a nutshell, The HOPE Protocol is a system that she used to harmonize her internal chemistry through natural hormone supplements, a healthy diet, detoxing protocols and coaching. Most importantly we had to educate ourselves. We originally developed it for her own weight loss and hormonal challenges. We found that our internal chemistry needed to be in better harmony before we could lose our hormonally induced weight gains. We discovered that our external being was just a reflection of the harmony we had with our internal chemistries. We found that the more harmony we had, the happier we were, the slimmer we were, the more energy we had and the better we slept.
I mean, it made sense. When did we feel and look our best? In our late twenties and early thirties. That is when our hormones were at their best. We went on a quest to discover how to harmonize her internal chemistry without the use of prescription and synthetic medications.
THE 12 STEPS TO HORMONAL HARMONY
- The first step was to balance our sex hormones. The sex hormones are estrogen, progesterone and testosterone. If they are out of balance, you will not feel yourself. We discovered that it was not how much or how little you had but how well they were balanced. We found that once we had our sex hormones balanced we were happy and well rested.
- The second step was to decrease inflammation. We developed an anti-inflammatory elimination diet. We removed one pro-inflammatory food at a time. As we did our inflammation decreased. The primary cause of hormonal disruption is inflammation. Inflammation is the primary cause of nearly all chronic diseases.
- The third step was to defat and optimize our livers. We did one liver detox after another. We have done hundreds of liver detoxes on our clients and have found that the subtler the better. Most people do not realize the liver’s importance to balanced hormones. The liver is in-charge of fat burning hormones, converting, hormones and activating hormones.
- The fourth step was to have a goal, a purpose, a plan and policies to follow to assure that we achieved. We had to have a coach. have you ever noticed that nearly all great achievers give credit to a coach? You need someone to educate you, encourage you, edify you and enlighten you. That’s what we do, by the way.
- The fifth step was to know that we are all different. We all have different hormones, chemistries, and personalities. We all need to have plans that are customized for each and everyone of you. That is where a coach becomes so important. Clients of The HOPE Protocol, have 24/7 access to us through texting. Through constant communication the program is customized.
- The sixth step is to cleanse, heal and re-inoculate the gut. There are 3 different types of bacteria within the gut, the parasitic, the commensal, and the symbiotic. The parasitic bacteria eat sugar. The symbiotic bacteria eat fiber. The commensal eat whatever they want. The parasitic, the bad bacteria overgrow and damage our guts. The gut must be cleansed and repaired.
- The seventh step is The Mac Ketogenic Vegetein Diet. This is where we turn you from a sugar burning machine to a fat burning machine. We do this by not restricting calories, but my restricting food. We place the body in ketosis where you burn fat and do not lose muscle. The average woman loses an average of .5 pound a day.
- The eight step is all about energy and metabolism. Within this step, we optimized our thyroid and growth hormones. We did this all naturally. We will show you how we discovered the right tests to take for our thyroid and growth hormone and how we could order the best tests for both of these hormones online very inexpensively.
- The ninth step is all about the stress hormones. We will teach you how we improved our stress hormones. We knew that stress is going to be a part of our lives. If we have great stress hormones, we could wrestle with stress. If we had weak stress hormones, we may end up in the corner sucking our thumbs, or even worse jumping off a cliff.
- The tenth step is the third diet program called the Mac Discovery Diet. This diet is the opposite of The Mac Anti-Inflammatory Elimination Diet. We add foods back into your diet to discover which foods you can and cannot eat. You will be surprised on the foods that you may have sensitivities to. For example, I am sensitive to fresh organic oregano.
- The eleventh step is the third detox within our program. In this detox, we cleanse and repair the cells themselves. They may have clogged receptor sites, not letting them uptake hormones. That is why you could have great hormone levels, but have all the hormone deficiency symptoms. We cleaned out heavy metals, mold, bacteria and viruses from your cells.
- The twelfth step is all about edification. We shape and make the body stronger inside and out.It is important to know that your chemistry governs the types of thoughts you have. Your thoughts govern your feelings. Your feelings govern your actions. Your actions govern your results and your results govern your chemistry.
