Are there good grains and bad grains?
Grains are so very controversial. I mean Jesus ate them. He would have known if they were good or bad for us. When you look at it from that angle, the problem is easily solvable. The grains that God placed here are good for you. Those that man took and played God with are not so good for you. The problem? Is there any God-made grains left?

The three top crops in the world are all grains. They are rice, corn and wheat and in that order. We all know that if there is a food disaster that grains will be our savior. Do you remember the story of Joseph? He knew that there would be 7 years of feast followed by 7 years of famine. He put a percentage of the grains away during the 7 years of feasting and when the 7 years of famine occurred, he saved Egypt. Joseph went on to teach us some very important lessons about family.
Here in the United States, we eat more wheat than any other food product. We are told that we are suppose to. We are told that grains should be the foundation of the American diet. I think we are all learning that whatever “they” tell us to do when it comes to dietary choices, we need to run the other way. Now, I personally believe that grains would work well as the foundation of the American Diet, if these grains were what they are suppose to be. The problem, conventional grains are not anywhere near what God intended them to be.
Nearly all the breads, cereals, cookies, crackers, donuts, cakes, pancakes, muffins, waffles, pasta, and pizza that we eat have had the God knocked out of them. They are all made from one small part of the wheat seed. They crush and pulverize the seed and throw the good parts away. This is making us a very unhealthy country.
And It Started When
Grain mills came into existence. The first mills crushed the grain seeds into flour. The original flours had all of the grain’s parts. Eventually food engineers learned that they could take out the bran and germ leaving behind only the endosperm. By just using the endosperm, they could make a tasty naked flour. By just using the endosperm, they could increase the shelf life of the grain. This naked flour was a “miracle food.” It could last indefinitely and could be transported long distances. It could feed the world! This naked flour also did not attract pests. Pests wanted nothing to do with it. Isn’t it funny that most pests want nothing to do with our processed foods?
In essence, they took out everything but the the sugar. Why do we do that?
Someone decided one day, “Hey let’s take out the vitamins, the minerals, the good fats, and the proteins and sell it to the world. The good news is at least they turned all that good stuff into animal feed.
You do know all about this? Right? How is it that everyone can know something so very important and ignore it? Do we go in denial? I mean our own government tells us to eat it and to eat lots of it. They must know. Is it our denial and the propaganda that makes this worthless make you fat white flour the poster child of “The Great American Diet?” How is it that everyday we can sit at our dinner tables consuming a food that is on The 10 Most Unwanted Food List. Would we sit with a person on the FBI’s most wanted?
Thanks to great organizations like the Weston A. Price Foundation, who scream at the top of their lungs about the worthlessness of white flour, for taking the time to list what processing takes out of a wheat seed.

We Took Something Good Then Made It Bad, Then Even Made It Worse
The Food Engineers have crushed it, pulverized it, and thrown away the good parts. Then, they decided to play God. They step by step turned our grains into Franken-grains. They began by biologically engineering the seeds through interbreeding. They kept interbreeding them until they made super seeds. I can understand this to some degree. At least we let the seeds determine what they would become, which means there was still some God in them.
Then they would plant the seeds and bathe them in synthetic lab/man-made fertilizers. These manmade fertilizers would make the seeds grow faster and heartier. Those synthetic compounds found their way into the wheat.
Then they made manmade synthetic pesticides. These synthetic pesticides also found their way into the wheat.
Then they made manmade synthetic herbicides. These herbicides also made it into the wheat.
All of these synthetic lab/manmade chemicals eventually made their way into us.
When foreign chemicals enter our bodies, our body attacks them. This causes chronic inflammation is. Chronic inflammation is the primary cause of most cancers, diabetes, heart disease, strokes, Alzheimer’s, hormonal disruption and obesity. But we keep eating them over and over.
These food engineers eventually learned how to make the grains weather resistant, pest resistant, and drought resistant. They could dwarf the wheat to grow closer together. They even decided to make it even higher in that pesky protein called gluten. In fact they have increased gluten to where it is now 80% of this grain’s protein. Gluten is what makes our baking products fluffier, but it also pastes our insides. Gluten finds its way out of the gut and into our bloodstream. It’s never suppose to leave the gut. Once it escapes the gut, it will cause a myriad of autoimmune diseases.
They Then Took Something That They Made Bad, Then Worse, Then They Went For Horrific
These engineers then altered the genetics of wheat. They actually genetically altered it so they could spray poisonous herbicides on them and it would be immune to the poisons. Other countries saw what we were doing to our grains, and went so far to ban American grains from their countries. Where socialized medicine exists, it costs money if the population becomes sick. Where capitalistic medicine exists, it makes money if people become sick. This boycott from other countries helped save us from a road of genetically modified grains. Since this hit the manufacturers pocket books, the processing industries quit genetically engineering America’s grains.
The problem did not go away. Once you genetically modify something and it gets into the stream, it spreads like wildfire. Many of our non-genetically modified seeds have the GMO seeds DNA within them now.

It is more of a Frankenfood, a by-product of industrial agriculture or “super-starch and super-gluten.” Combine that with the damage our guts have suffered from our diet, environment, lifestyle, and overuse of antibiotics, acid blockers, and anti-inflammatories, and you have the perfect storm for gluten intolerance.”
This Next Fact Will Hit You In The Belly
Most of the pesticides, herbicides and fertilizers used on grains have xenoestrogens. These estrogens make us even more estrogen dominant. Estrogen dominance, which we are all becoming, will make us gain weight, have weight loss resistance, have sleeping problems, have anxiety and even depression. Estrogen dominance in pre-pubescent teens will cause early puberty and larger breasts, even in the boys. These xenoestrogens also contribute to hormonal cancers.
It Gets Worse!
The farmers are actually spraying synthetic hormones directly onto the grains. Wow! Those hormones will end up in us. I could list about a dozen different chemicals they place onto the grains to stop everything from fungus to moths. All of these chemicals end up in our bodies and cause inflammation. Many of these affect our brains and nervous systems in a really bad way. In fact one study found that children with pesticide exposure are twice as likely to have ADHD.
What Grains And When
In Tier ONE of The Mac Diets, we eliminate the gluten grains, wheat, rye and barley. In tier TWO, we eliminate all processed grains. So what does that mean? It means that we could only consume grains that were 100% whole organic non-gluten grains while on Tier TWO. Think steel cut organic oats, organic brown rice, and organic whole corn. In Tier THREE, we eliminate all grains.
What are our reasonings? We eliminate gluten to see how our bodies responded to a non-gluten diet. In Vicky’s case it was miracle-like. Her face became smaller. Her facial puffiness disappeared within days. In the second tier we eliminated all processed grains to drop our insulin levels to prepare us for the second of The Mac Diets. In the third tier, we eliminated all grains. This drops the insulin levels even lower preparing our bodies for The Mac Vegetein Ketogenic Diet where we turn ourselves from sugar burning machines to fat burning machines.
Most of us will know immediately that grains have a lot to do with the way we feel and look. Vicky felt and looked so much better without them. Today’s modern grains are so pro-inflammatory, pro-insulin, and carbohydrate dense that with them in our diets, we remain in a 24 hour fat storing state. That’s called weight loss resistance by the way.
What Makes The Mac Diets Different
The Mac Diet’s first concentration was on harmonizing our internal chemistries, our hormones. When you are estrogen dominant, which most of us are, even the men, you cannot lose weight no matter what you do. Vicky personally learned that regular diets would not work after menopause. Remember, we had owned several weight loss clinics prior her going into menopause. She knew a thing or two about weight loss. Menopause created a whole new ball game for her, a frustrating ball game. We found that we had to address her estrogen dominance, before she could ever have a chance to lose weight.
The Mac Diet’s second concentration is on the food she ate. It had nothing to do with counting calories. The Mac Diets are food restricted diets, not caloric restricted diets. There is no counting calories. The Mac Diets are THREE different diets in one. There has to be a prep diet, then a ketogenic diet and then a maintenance diet. The diet has to be filled with Godmade food and void of manmade food. The more Godmade food consumed, the less inflammation. Inflammation is the primary cause of hormonal disruption. Inflammation must be tamed to eliminate weight loss resistance, burn fat and to maintain the fat loss.
